Wheat had sharp gains providing spillover support for corn as soybeans closed
with slight losses. Soybeans closed slightly lower and again were unwilling
followers of corn and wheat. Buying interest on soybeans is limited at this
time with favorable weather conditions in Argentina. Corn closed with modest
gains on support from wheat. Wheat had active buying and closed with double-
digit gains as there are growing concerns with global stocks tightening and
flood concerns in Australia. Corn had export sales of 904,800 mt (35.6 mb) for
current marketing year and 125,000 mt for next year. Soybeans had export sales
of 732,400 mt (26.9 mb) for current marketing year and 183,000 for next year.
Wheat had bullish export sales of 1,054,300 mt (38.7 mb). Wheat closed mostlt
14-17 cents higher. Corn traded mostly 3 cents higher. Soybeans closed mostlt
2 cents lower.
