East Burke, producer from Kahoka, Mo., built his own large round bale unroller to save time while feeding cattle. To do this, Mr. Burke took one pair of wheels and hubs from a small car and welded them onto each end of a 21/2 foot piece of angle iron with braces. He then welded two pieces of quarter-inch strap iron (4 inches by 18 inches) to the inside of the wheels. After welding the unroller together, he attached it to the front of his tractor with four 3/4-inch by 2-inch bolts. Total material costs were $25.00.
