The Canadian Beef Breeds Council hosts the Beef Improvement Federation’s 2008 Annual Research Symposium in Calgary, Alberta, June 30 to July 3. The event, titled “Beef Beyond Borders,” will attract more than 500 seedstock and commercial producers, feedlot operators, leading beef-industry service providers, enthusiastic young producers from across North America, academics and industry experts who will share and learn from the latest research and innovation that contribute to ongoing advancements in beef production. Renowned Canadian and U.S. industry representatives and innovators will showcase and discuss leading-edge genetic advancements occurring in each country and the cross-border implications and opportunities. The organizers encourage pre-registration due to capacity limits for the conference.
