John Stoneman of Breckenridge, Mich., made it easier and safer for his young help to work cattle. By building this raised cement floor, the kids can reach livestock to process or move the cattle through the chute system without worrying about falling off a ledge. The floor was built on the inside turn of the corral system, connecting the crowding pen area to the alley way leading to the chute. This allows safe access and moving of livestock all the way through.
