Cattle can become distracted and agitated when worked in a corral system. To cut down on cattle distractions, producer Ron McNear from Koshkonong, Mo., developed his own solid sided alleyways to block out scary sights and movements to keep cows moving forward.

Mr. McNear used 1/10-inch, white recycled ultra-violet stabilized plastic. He fastened the plastic to his tub, alley and squeeze chute areas using white plastic 8-inch wire ties. The white ties will resist UV deterioration and last longer. Mr. McNear says his corral system is cheap, easy to install and maintain, is non-tractable, and really helps a long day’s work go quickly and smoothly.
