Steer calves weighing 400 to 500 pounds posted an average gain of $20.50 for the month at $176.51 per hundredweight. Yearling steers weighing 600 to 700 pounds averaged $150.58, up $8.90 per hundredweight. Heifer calves sold for an average of $155.52 per hundredweight, a gain of $13.19.
