Steer calves weighing 400 to 500 pounds saw average bids of $104.90 per hundredweight, a decline of $4.07. Yearling steers weighing 600 to 700 pounds declined $4.55 per hundredweight to average $94.45. Heifer calves weighing 400 to 500 pounds brought an average of $92.77, a drop of $5.40 per hundredweight. Yearling heifers weighing more than 600 pounds lost $5.02 per hundredweight to average $84.23 during September.
