Steak becomes new ad space with laser tech

Using a new medium to promote a web development series, one designer shows advertising could be coming to your grocers’ meat counter.

Ivy Hu used lasers to etch a message onto a slab of meat to promote a global design firm’s web development series, “Digital Chops.” The etched meat was then Photoshopped to make the words, specifically the smaller font, easier to read.
