Producer attitude research, conducted by the independent firm of Aspen Media and Market Research, will continue in the field for the next couple of weeks, or until 600 randomly selected beef and dairy producers from all segments of the industry and the country have been interviewed by telephone – to help us understand producer support for, and ideas and questions about, the beef checkoff. In addition, for the first time, this summer’s surveying will include a parallel online survey of producers to assess how best to reach the growing number of producers who are using smartphones and Internet through our digital communications. Results of the surveys will be reported to the Producer Communications Working Group and the CBB Executive Committee during summer conference in Denver. See results of past surveys at Producer Attitudes.
