"I was very impressed by the level of attendance and involvement by our members at this meeting," said Jerry Stokka, DVM, MS, presidet of the Academy of Veterinary Consultants. "From the lecture presentations to the closed door sessions, our members were engaged. Of course, the social part of our meetings, the corporate reception, new member reception and all of the other less formal social events were very well attended and engaging. In addition, the awarding of the AVC Consultant of the Year to Calvin Booker, welcoming new endowed member, Dr. Ed Johnson, and recognizing Dr. Gatz Riddell from AABP for his efforts was very rewarding."
