AABP seminar 26, "New Horizons in Johne’s Disease Control," will take place Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p. m. at the AABP-AVC meeting in Albuquerque, N.M. This will be a workshop for veterinarians and other ag professionals.

The workshop will look at the importance of the disease to the industry, including potential human health concerns, then move to sessions addressing the latest management strategies for controlling the disease in young stock and mature animals, as well as tools to reduce shedding in infected animals, wrapping up with “case studies” that help to put it all together.

Speakers include Drs. Mike Collins, Frank Garry, Dan Grooms, Ernest Hovingh, Beth Patton, Sandra Godden, Steve Hendricks and Ken Olson. The workshop qualifies for Johne’s recertification in most states.
