GlobalVetLINK released its latest tool for veterinarians and animal owners this week. GVL’s Animal Movement Requirements Look-up web portal powered by the patent pending GVL SmartEngine™ technology, was released on March 16, and already has interstate movement requirements available for 10 states. The goal of the web portal is to provide a one-stop-shop for veterinarians and animal owners seeking interstate movement requirements for their pets and livestock. The Animal Movement Requirements Look-up webpage is free of charge to the public. The initial release of this website focuses on movement requirements for cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, deer, dogs and cats for a limited number of states, with more states being added daily. GVL is working closely with state animal health officials to ensure the most accurate information possible is available. Visit www.animalregs.com to see if states in your area have activated requirements on GVL’s Animal Movement Requirements Web Portal.
Currently, there are interstate movement requirements available for Arkansas, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, New York, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and Virginia with several others expected to be available within days.
As a leading online software provider for veterinarians, GlobalVetLINK believes in offering tools to the animal health industry that are easy to use and make everyday tasks simpler. Kaylen Henry, Product Manager at GVL commented, “The web portal is just the first step in achieving a bigger company vision, which is to incorporate the rules used in the portal into our digital Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (eCVIs). Offering ‘smarter’, more efficient products and services helps our veterinary customers save time and money on paperwork, so they can focus more of their attention on their animal clients.”
