Cattle has made its way to the top in Oregon production value and one county can definitely feel the good effects, reports Samantha Tipler, Herald and News. 

Cattle accounts for 40 percent of Klamath County's agricultural industry and Duane Hardenburger, president of the Klamath Cattlemens Assocation, told Tipler, "By and large cattle have been good to better than good.”

This is the first time the cattle industry has been number one since the 90's and many can see that prices are high for cattle and calves, which Hardenburger attributed to good cattle genetics.
