A freeway in Mesquite, Texas was shut down this morning after a truck transporting 86 head of cattle turned over into the median, reports The Dallas Morning News. Though none of the cattle escaped, a few were found dead in the crash.

Police set up a cattle pen on the side of the highway for the other cattle and the Dallas County Sheriff's Department's special livestock unit estimated a six-hour clean-up time for the crash. The driver of the semi was not injured in the accident and authorities are still investigating the cause.
