Nothing beats sorting through pens of bulls all morning and then buying them live, it isn’t always possible to make it to sale day. In this week’s Drovers Poll, we surveyed readers on how they did their bidding when they couldn’t make it in person.

As technology has advanced, so have buyers preferences, with 58 percent relying on online bidding from auction services to get their cattle purchased. Behind that, 24 percent preferred to bid by phone, while 18 percent left a sale order.
