The city of Minatare, Nebraska will start construction in late 2016 on a F2E Global LLC beef processing plant, reported Richard Piersol of the Journal Star.  Early projections believe the plant could process 1,500 cattle a day, bringing  600 jobs to the city. The building and technology are expected to cost $155 million.

The Minatare City Council voted August 26 to sign a nonbinding memorandum with F2E Global, said Josh Berger, operations director of Tetrad Property Group of Lincoln and Omaha, which has been consultants to investors.
