Students interested in a career in the beef industry now have the chance to win a The Cattlewomen Beef Legacy Scholarship from the Nebraska Grape and Sizzle Committee and the Lincoln County Cattlewomen.

Any student pursuing a two- or four-year degree in an agricultural field, though students interested in beef will be given priority. The scholarship will be for at least $500, "but we would like to do better than that if we can," reported Grape and Sizzle Committee chair Linda Hansen reported to Kamie Stephen of the NP Telegraph.

The Cattlewomen Beef Legacy Scholarship will be administred through the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation and will be added to after the Lincoln County Fair annual Greape and Sizzle event.
