Retail gasoline prices saw an average of a one cent increase this week, rising to $2.66. The change brought the 27-day average price to $2.35. The New England, Lower Atlantic and Rocky Mountain regions all rose by one cent as well.
The East Coast, Central Atlantic and Gulf Coast regions sat steadily with no change. The Midwest region saw the largest increase of three cents, raising the average price of retail gasoine to $2.65. The West Coast region was the only region to see a decrease of one cent, yet continues to have the highest retail gasoline prices at $3.06.
Ohio saw a huge spike in prices, raising 14 cents from $2.70 last week to $2.84 this week. Minnesota saw the largest decrease of four cents to $2.57.
