Retail gasoline prices continue to drop across the U.S., this week seeing the largest drop in the Midwest. Overall, prices have dropped 9 cents in the U.S., hitting $2.14 after seeing $2.23 December 29.
The Midwest saw a 12 cent drop in prices, seeing gas prices drop below $2. Minnesota saw a 15 cent drop in gas prices from last week, making it the state who saw the largest price drop this week. This week's price drop brings the state's 27-week average to $3. Prices in Ohio fell 14 cents from $2 to $1.86.
Denver and Cleveland both saw a 14 cent drop in gasoline prices from last weeek. Cleveland gas prices now average $1.93, while Denver is down to $2.06.
