The average price of gas in the U.S. has not changed since last week, continuing to sit at $2.35. The 27-week average is sitting at $2.53.

The New England and Gulf Coast regions were both the same as last week as well, sitting at $2.45 and $2.18, respectively. The Central Atlantic, Midwest and West Coast regions were all tied for the largest drop, dipping by 2 cents each. 

The Lower Atlantic region fared the worst, jumping five cents to $2.34 this week. This brings the 27-day average to $2.53.

Gas prices in Florida also saw a huge jump of 14 cents, hitting $2.52. Washington state continues to have the highest average gas prices in the country, hitting $2.71 this week.
