The panel of cattle industry experts who make up our Monday Market Sentiment were a little low with a prediction of $138.78 per hundredweight. This week, the panel is a little more optimistic with an average guess of $139.10 per hundredweight.
Choice boxed beef fell through the week, starting March 15 at $231.01 per hundredweight, and ending March. 21 on $229.80 per hundredweight. The drop moved the 27-day average to $221.01 per hundredweight.
