Choice boxed beef dropped slightly throughout this week, starting off on September 15 at $233.49 per hundredweight and moving to $225.54 per hundredweight by September 21. The 27-day average price now rests at $240.07.
Choice primal rib fell during the week. Last week, primal rib kicked off September 15 at $321.22 per hundredweight and ended September 21 at $310.40 per hundredweight. The largest fall occurred between Thursday and Friday from $321.72 to $312.78.
