Feeder cattle prices have been falling since Monday, and are at their lowest point in the last week at just $196.73. The 27-day average price has fallen to $215.36. Live catle prices lost momentum on Wednesday after seeing slight gains on Tuesday. Live cattle prices fell to $153.00, dropping 75 cents. The 27-day average price landed in at $157.52.
Lean hog prices tumbled another $2.10, reaching a week-long low of $65.10. The 27-day average price for lean hogs is still at $74.22.
Corn prices saw the smallest price decrease, dropping only 2 cents down to $3.84. Wheat prices dipped 3 cents, and soybean prices fell 15 cents to $9.72.
