Livestock prices were up on Wednesday, after both live and feeder cattle prices rebounded. Live cattle prices rose 47 cents to $161.80. The 27-day average price rose to $157.17. Feeder cattle prices gained back the 50 cents they lost on Tuesday, bringing prices back to $218.63, making Wednesday's price the same as Monday's. The 27-day average price hit $211.13.
Lean hog prices reached $62.90 on Wednesday. The 47 cent price increase brought lean hog prices to a week-long high. The 27-day average price hit $63.52.
Crop prices also saw gains on Wednesday. Corn prices gained 6 cents to $3.82. Both wheat and soybean prices rose 17 cents, bringing prices to $5.29 and $9.90, respectively.
