The 27-day average price for live cattle landed at $156.14. Feeder cattle prices increased $4.50 on Wednesday, bringing the price to $207.23, the highest prices have been all week. The 27-day average price rose to $201.84.
Lean hog prices are up $2.40 on Wednesday. Prices hit $68.00, a week-long high. The 27-day average price is up to $66.14.
Crop prices didn't fare as well. Corn prices were unchanged with prices stuck at $3.82. Wheat prices dipped 15 cents to $4.94. Soybean prices fell even harder. A 20 cent price drop brought soybean prices to $9.89.
