After a few days of falls, livestock prices saw a turn on Tuesday to increase. Live cattle prices increased 35 cents on Tuesday to hit $128.03, bringing the 27-day average price to $135.72. Feeder cattle prices also saw a jump from $172.30 on Monday to $173.48 on Tuesday. The $1.18 increase brought the 27-day average price to $186.77.
Lean hog prices increased the most, jumping $2.38 to hit $54.18. The 27-day average price now rests at $61.05.
Corn prices saw a jump of two cents, while wheat fell six cents.
