The average price of retail diesel lowered one cent in the U.S. to $2.86. It dropped one cent last week as well. The 27-week average retail price is $2.91.

All regions saw a decrease except the West Coast and New England. The West Coast stayed the same at $3.10 and New England went up one cent to $3.09. The Central Atlantic and the Gulf Coast saw the largest decrease at two cents, bringing their prices to $3.10 and $2.76 respectively. 

The West Coast and the Central Atlantic have the higest retail price at $3.10. The Midwest has the lowest retail price at $2.75.
