U.S. retail diesel prices fell one cent to $2.83 this week. The 27-week average price is $2.88. Most regions saw decreases in price as well.

The largest decrease in price was 2 cents that occured in the East Coast, Central Atlantic and Gulf Coast. The only area to increase was the Rocky Mountain region gaining one cent.

The West Coast and Central Atlantic have the higest retail diesel prices with $3.07, followed closely by New England with $3.06. The lowest retail diesel prices are in the Gulf Coast with $2.71 and the Midwest with $2.72.
