United States diesel prices dropped an average of six cents this week to hit $2.72. The 27-day average price for U.S. diesel prices is now at $2.85. Many regions saw the same six-cent drop, including the East Coast, New England, Lower Atlantic, Midwest and the Gulf Coast. 

The Central Atlantic region saw the largest decrease of seven cents, while the Rocky Mountain region saw only a four cent drop. The West Coast region saw five-cent fall but sits at the highest average prices of $2.96.
