Retail gas prices across the U.S. are mixed this week. Prices throughout the country vary, though the average price across the U.S. is only up a penny. The 27-week average is $2.56.
Despite a four cent decrease this week, the West Coast region continues to have the highest gas prices in the country this week, sitting at $2.73 per gallon. The Midwest region saw the largest gain on retail gas prices this week. Up seven cents, gas prices average $2.35 a gallon.
The Gulf Coast region holds steady with the lowest gas prices in the country, decreasing four cents to hit $2.18 a gallon this week.
Ohio saw a huge increase in prices this week, jumping fourteen cents to $2.32. New York state and Minnesota were tied for largest decrease this week, both decreasing by six cents.
