The average price of retail gas in the United States is up six cents this week, resting at $2.60. This rise has brought the 27-week average price to $2.36. 

The Midwest region saw the highest jump this week with a nine cent increase to end up at $2.57. The West Coast was close behind with a six cent increase, settling at $3.05, the highest of any region in the country this week. 

Ohio saw the largest jump this week for the states with a 15 cent increase to hit $2.62. Minnesota was close behind with a nine cent increase. Washington sat at the highest gas prices at $3 this week.
