US retail gas prices saw a slight average increase of one cent this week to hit $2.25. The largest increase was in the Midwest, where retail gas prices jumped five cents to hit $2.29. The Lower Atlantic saw a one-cent increase and the lowest retail gasoline prices in the country at $2.11.
The Rocky Mountain and West Coast regions fell the most by seven cents to $2.54 and $2.63, respectively. The highest retail gas prices in the country are in the West Coast region.
Colorado sawa hgue drop of nine cents, while Washington was close behind with a seven cent fall. The largest increase of the states was in Ohio with a seven-cent increase.
