Retail gasoline prices saw an average 8 cent increase this week, bringing the price to $2.74. The 27-week average price is $2.35.

All regions saw an increase of 3 cents or more. The Midwest had the largest increase of 12 cents, taking the average retail price to $2.76. The Gulf Coast has the lowest average retail price of $2.58. The West Coast has the highest average retail price at $3.09.

Ohio had the greatest increase out of the states with a 12 cent jump to $2.83. Florida had the lowest increase with only a one cent rise, taking the average price to $2.68.
