U.S. retail gasoline prices dropped one cent this week to $2.69. The 27-week average price is $2.41. Changes in price for the regions were mixed.

The largest decrease of 2 cents was seen in the East Coast, Central Atlantic and Lower Atlantic. The only regions to increase in price were the West Coast (2 cents) and the Rocky Mountain region (1 cent). 

The highest retail gasoline prices are found in the West Coast at $3.16. The lowest retail gasoline prices are in the Gulf Coast with $2.52.

Ohio had the largest increase of the week out of the states, with a 9 cent gain. Both Florida and New York had the largest decrease at 2 cents each.
