U.S. retail gasoline prices just dropped one cent to $2.71 this week. The 27-week average price is now $2.37. All regions decreased or stayed the same price.

The Gulf Coast had the largest decrease of 3 cents. The Lower Atlantic, East Coast and New England dropped one cent. Other regions stayed at the same retail prices. 

The West Coast has the highest retail price at $3.14. The lowest retail price is in the Gulf Coast with $2.54.

Of the states, Ohio had the largest increase with 12 cents to $2.82. Minnesota had the largest decrease with 6 cents to $2.64.
