Retail gasoline prices fell an average of seven cents in the United States to $2.53. The Midwest region saw the largest decrease, falling 12 cents to hit $2.62. The Gulf Coast still has the lowest retail gas prices however at $2.29 this week, while the West Coast has the highest prices at $3.00.

Ohio dropped 21 cents this week to $2.65, while Washington and Colorado saw the smallest drops of only three cents each.
