U.S. average retail gasoline prices dropped 3 cents this week to $2.66. The 27-week average price is $2.43. All but one region saw a decrease in prices.

Six regions dropped 4 cents this week. The Rocky Mountain region was the lone region to have an increase with 2 cents. 

The highest retail gasoline prices are found in the West Coast at $3.14. The lowest retail gasoline prices are in the Gulf Coast at $2.48.

Ohio had the largest decrease among the states, declining 19 cents. Minnesota had the largest increase gaining 12 cents.

Washington had the highest retail gasoline prices at $3.16 and Texas had the lowest at $2.52.
