U.S. gas prices fell an average of five cents this week to hit $2.51. The 27-day average price is now at $2.50. Regions that saw the five-cent drop were the East Coast, Central Atlantic, Lower Atlantic, Midwest, Gulf Coast and West Coast regions.

The Rocky Mountain region saw the lowest decrease of three cents, while the New England region dropped the hardest at seven cents.

Ohio is the only state that saw an increase this week, jumping 15 cents to $2.43. Minnesota decreased the most by 13 cents.
