U.S. retail diesel prices fell an average of 5 cents across the country this week. The average diesel price is now $2.86. The 27-week average price is still high at $3.30.

The Central Atlantic region saw the largest price reduction this week as diesel prices fell an average of 8 cents, pulling diesel prices down to $3.23. Prices in the Central Atlantic region are still the highest in the country. The New England region saw diesel prices fall 7 cents to $3.20.

The Gulf Coast region has the lowest diesel prices in the U.S. this week as price hit $2.72, a 5 cent price decrease from last week.
