Total red meat supplies in freezers are up 14 percent from January and up 5 percent from last year. Total pounds of beef in freezers were up 10 percent from the previous month and up 14 percent from last year. Total beef supplies are now at 490,937 pounds, up 46,561 pounds from last month. Boneless beef supplies make up the bulk of the supply increase in February.

Frozen pork supplies are up 18 percent from the previous month, but down 4 percent from last year. Stocks of pork bellies are up 13 percent from last month but down 39 percent from last year. Total pork supplies are up 92.740 pounds this month, reaching 596,532 pounds.
