Feeder Cattle Auction for 11/24/2014



Receipts:  234    Week Ago:  1036    Year Ago:  412



   Compared to last week, too few feeder steers and heifers for a

market test.  Slaughter cows steady.  Bulk of the supply cows with

several packages of third period replacement heifers also in the

offering.  Demand good and the supply light.  Cows and bulls accounted

for 65 percent of the run and feeders 35 percent.  In the feeder supply,

steers and bulls made up approximately 60 percent of the run; heifers

40 percent; steers and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 50 percent.



   Feeder Steers and Heifers Scarce.

   Slaughter Bulls:  Yield Grade 1-2  1400-2350 lbs 127.50-134.00,

Low Dressing 115.50-124.00.



   Replacement Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  Heifers 950-1100 lbs

3rd stage pregnancy 2425.00-2650.00 per head.
