Peaceable Kingdom Petting Zoo in Wrightstown, Pa. houses exotic animals and livestock on its five-acre residence according to Township officials cited a inspection by the Pennsylvania Game Commission stating the owners of the zoo are incapable of providing basic animal husbandry needs for their animals.

Charis Matey, co-owner of the zoo denies the allegations and claims that two staff members and regular check-ups by a veterinarian keep the animals healthy. Matey said the inspection is over two years old.

Wrightstown wants to limit the animals kept at the zoo appropriate for the amount of land Matey owns.
