Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday, 11/21/2014



On Friday in Kansas trading was slow with moderate demand. Compared to last week live

sales sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher at 173.00. In Nebraska and Iowa/Minnesota trading was

moderate on very good demand. Compared to last week in Nebraska live sale sold steady

to 1.00 higher mostly from 170.00 to 173.00 with a few up to 174.50. Dressed sales

sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher from 267.00 to 268.00. In Iowa/Minnesota when compared to 

the prior week live sales sold steady to 1.00 higher from 170.00 to 171.00. Dressed

sales sold 3.00 higher from 267.00 to 268.00. Friday saw trading limited in the Texas 

Panhandle and Colorado. Compared to the previous week in the Texas Panhandle live 

sales sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher at 172.00. In Colorado compared to last week live 

sales sold 2.00 higher from 173.00 to 174.00. A light test was noted in these two

feeding regions.
