During the election cycle, there was a lot of talk about trade and renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Within days after President-elect Trump was declared the winner, leaders from Canada and Mexico expressed interest in fresh talks to renegotiate the trade act.
Both the Mexico and Canada are major cattle buyers and suppliers, but some external factors could change the Canadian dynamic.
