No comparisons made as this is the first report in three weeks, however steady
undertones were noted. Demand and inquiry has been light to moderate this past
week due in part to the artic weather that hit the entire state early in the week.
Temps were sub zero with dangerous windchills -30 degrees and colder with snow
accumulations from 4 to 8 inches. Blizzard like conditions affected much of the
state on Thursday, with no travel advised. More normal temperatures of 20's-30's
are forecast for next week. All hay and straw sold by the ton FOB, unless otherwise
