Gardiner Angus Ranch’s 16th Annual Fall Production Sale saw 316 bulls sell for an average of $5,706. One hundred seventy-four of those bulls were 20-months of age and averaged $6,346, while 142 bulls were 16-months of age and averaged $4,921.

The sale saw 331 bidders with 163 buyers, both online and in-person, purchase a total of 383 lots, or 647 head for a total of $2,611,450, a per head average of $4,036. High selling bull, GAR Prodigy 5389S, sold to Randall Grimmius, Grimmius Cattle Co., Hanford, Calif., for $47,000.

The sale also offered 13 bred registered Angus females that averaged $4,288 per head. Twenty-six bred registered heifers sold for an average of $6,548 per head. Two hundred seventy-one bred commercial heifers sold for an average of $1,994 per head. One load lot of bred commercial heifers sold for $42,000 or $2,000 per head.
